 SBM BILLPAY

Description

SBM BILLPAY is a convenient bill payment service launched by SBM that allows pre-registered SBM customers to pay their electricity bills of CEB, water bills of CWA, telephone bills of Mauritius Telecom and Orange Post Pay through all SBM ATMs and SBM POS terminals located at Winner’s supermarkets. With SBM BILLPAY, you can also pay your tax to the MRA through any SBM ATM. It is the perfect solution if you do not want to wait in line, but do like to verify before you pay.

The SBM BILLPAY service has now been extended to mobile phones. By just simply sending an SMS through your mobile phone, you can pay your electricity bills of CEB, telephone bills of Mauritius Telecom and Orange Post Pay as well as pay your Income tax to MRA with ease and convenience. This service complements the SBM BILLPAY product and is called Orange money.

As from November 2013, two new products were added to our offer, namely Orange Money E-voucher and Orange Money Micropayment services.

Orange Money E-voucher is a service exclusively for Orange retailers, enabling them to pay Mauritius Telecom for their airtime by simply sending an SMS and their SBM bank account will be debited accordingly. Orange retailers will no longer need to wait for a salesman or to go to an Orange shop to replenish their airtime.

Orange Money Micropayment services allows you to pay for your daily purchases - such as newspapers, bread, vegetables etc... at your Orange Money retailer, with a simple SMS and without any risk. Using this service is as simple as sending an SMS and does not require a smart phone or any application download.
