The Board of Directors of SBM Holdings Ltd (SBMH) wishes to inform its shareholders and the public in general that, following an internal investigation, it has decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the Group Chief Executive Officer of SBMH, Mr Raoul Claude Nicolas Gufflet, and to suspend him from his duties with immediate effect pending the determination of the disciplinary proceedings.

The Board of SBMH has designated the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of SBMH, Mr Mooneesing Janna Naikeny, as Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of SBMH, subject to regulatory approval, until further notice.
